DK Dance Productions • Owner, Darci Ward
“Darci is a super insightful and fun person, and everyone can learn a thing or two from her.” - Ian Lohr (CEO Student)

Darci is a perfect example of an entrepreneur that started small and grew her business from one studio with 50 students to now three studios with 600+ students.
She is a former Miss Jersey County and when you meet her it is easy to see why she would be chosen to represent our county. She is well-spoken, smart, and always has a smile on her face.

Darci started dancing at the age of three and has always had a passion for it. She taught dance for twenty years and is now the owner operator of her three studios in Florisant, Alton, and Jerseyville.
To keep up with the demands of being a business owner, she wakes up at 4:30AM and has a daily morning routine that includes reading and working out.

Her biggest influences were the two strongest women she has known - her mom and grandma. If they didn't know how to do something they would figure it out.

Darci is a CEO mentor for the fifth time this year. We are so grateful for the time she dedicates to this program and the students. She always gives students the book “The Compound Effect”. This book made an impact on her and she hopes it also encourages students that they can achieve great things if they keep trying and gain momentum.

Thank you for speaking with us!
