Brian has been a Jersey County CEO Board Member and Mentor from the start of the program six years ago. Given his previous career experience, speaking skills, posititvy, life lessons, and overall being an inspirational figure - we are so grateful for his involvement with the program.
It’s also noteworthy that Brian is still just as ambitious as he has always been and has currently been putting that energy to good use. He completed his first marathon this year and is currently training for his second.
He is most known in his career as being the former CFO of Energizer. In addition, he is currently a professor at Univerity of Illinois and recently was chosen for Professor of the Year!
He shared his career path story and many valuable pieces of advice.
He also did an activity, using the ingredients for s’mores, to help students be able to calculate the actual cost of an individual product and what to factor in when setting a price to ensure profitability.
