With the frigid temps last week we found ourselves doing something that we have not done since 2020!
We had a virtual guest speaker.

For the past five years Crystal has helped our students understand how to set up an EIN, what forms to use as a self-employed business owner, examples tax scenarios, and always answers all of our many other questions about taxes.

The information she provides is invaluable and we tell students to hold on to the informative documents because they could come in handy if they take college accounting or if they do one day start their own business.

Crystal shared her career path story of working for a business that sold semi trucks, to her current role as a CPA. She is a great example of someone truly enjoying their job and is also very good at what she does. She told students she enjoys that her job feels different everyday. One of her favorite things about her jobs is when there is something not lining up and she is able to find the missing piece for her client.
