At 84 years old, she works 7 days a week and is at her store 12 hours each day.
She has been in business for 11 years thanks to her loyal customers and her employees and her dedication to keep this business going.
Betty encouraged the students to, "work, work, work", when it comes to whatever they choose to do in life. She lives by that advice as she has experience in many different fields. Speaking of fields, her first job was picking strawberries. She has also been a bus driver and was the Mayor of Fieldon for many years.
Betty's Get N Go is most known for their breakfast sandwiches made by head chef: John Duggan, pulled pork that is smoked in-house, and her hand-dipped ice cream. However, you may be surprised to know that ice is her number one selling item.
